Dr. Susan Kennerly, Professor in the Department of Nursing Science at the East Carolina University College of Nursing, is a wound care certified, gerontological nurse educator, and researcher. Dr. Kennerly’s scholarship, distinguished for its focus on enhancing nursing care delivery and the nursing practice environment, includes cueing staff to reposition residents and examine nursing culture in order to positively impact outcomes of older adults in long-term care settings.
